I'm Aaron Turnbull, owner and certified home inspector at Turnbull Inspections.

I've worked in residential construction since 2002, building new homes, completing renovations, and honing my craft as a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter. Over two and a half decades, I've developed a deep understanding of how homes are built, how they age, and how their systems work together.

While people often think of a home's systems, like structure, plumbing, and electrical, as separate entities, in reality they're all interconnected. It is the carpenter who is involved from the foundation to the final finishing. Along the way, we work alongside every other trade, developing an understanding, not only of each system, but how they all depend on one another. That experience has given me the ability to see not just individual components, but how the entire house functions as one complete system.

Throughout my career, I've developed an eye for both exceptional, meticulous craftsmanship and work that reflects a lack of care and understanding. Many of those differences aren't apparent to homeowners—but they can have significant consequences over time. Becoming a home inspector was a natural next step, allowing me to use my experience to help people better understand the homes they're buying, selling, or maintaining. Buying a home can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. My job is to remove as much of the guesswork as possible, giving you the information you need to move forward with confidence.

  • Our first session focuses on the foundations of floral design. From tool basics to flower care and simple composition tips, you’ll start building confidence and finding your creative rhythm.

  • Participants will be responsible for brining their own lunch, but we'll provide water and some additional snacks throughout the day.

  • With the basics fresh, we’ll dive into hands-on arranging. We’ll explore shape, scale, and movement while encouraging personal style through floral design.
